Welcome to Cycle 3 of the Rampton Round-Down!

Okay family - Are you ready to start again? Have you eaten yourself into a dither? Tired of fun, celebrating, and eating anything at will? Finished with pulling out the size "biggos" from back in the closet? Let's get going again.

Why don't we start this coming Friday, the 1st. (we thought Friday postings would be better so that if we have heavy eating to do on the weekends, it won't blow our week's weight loss as much.) Our end goal will be the family reunion. First, you need to set a goal for your weight loss and post it with your intention to participate -

Remember, you never need to reveal your weight at any point as we only ask for percentage of weight lost. Even if you only want to lose 5 pounds, please join us - it makes it more fun and motivating for all of us. **If you haven't gone on to post on the blog before, let Alicia know so that she can make it work for you.

We are being very tough this time around. There is a $10 fee to participate this cycle and you must post by the end of the first week or you will be kicked off the challenge and forfeit your participation fee.

It's ridiculous that it's been 15 weeks and I'm still fighting the same dumb pounds from week 1...well almost, it's slowly going down, but so slowly since I can't stop eating!!!

Anyway, thanks to Easter (and all the amazing food), I gained 0.4 lbs, not too bad considering, but working towards a REAL loss this week!

Ashley week 12

Ok, I'm annoyed. I weighed myself yesterday and was down 1.2 lbs, but today I was up .2 lbs. So which one do I take? Grrr...and do think you should take a pre work out weight or post work out weight? Sometimes when I work out the scale goes down quite nicely.

So this week I don't know what to say...I'd like it to be a loss, but if I take today's, it's a gain.

I don't know how it is physically possible, but the scale says that I gained 5 pounds! Yikes! I didn't think I was that bad over Spring Break. Clearly I need to work on maintenance of weight loss.

  1. get in one session of yoga, weight lifting and 1 hr of cardio this week
  2. eat whole grains

So I did weigh myself at Michele's house, but it was high due to the copious amounts of food I'd eaten, so do I really start with that, or with what I weighed this morning?

I think I'll start with today as 0 for a more realistic measure of weight loss.
