Welcome to Cycle 3 of the Rampton Round-Down!

Okay family - Are you ready to start again? Have you eaten yourself into a dither? Tired of fun, celebrating, and eating anything at will? Finished with pulling out the size "biggos" from back in the closet? Let's get going again.

Why don't we start this coming Friday, the 1st. (we thought Friday postings would be better so that if we have heavy eating to do on the weekends, it won't blow our week's weight loss as much.) Our end goal will be the family reunion. First, you need to set a goal for your weight loss and post it with your intention to participate -

Remember, you never need to reveal your weight at any point as we only ask for percentage of weight lost. Even if you only want to lose 5 pounds, please join us - it makes it more fun and motivating for all of us. **If you haven't gone on to post on the blog before, let Alicia know so that she can make it work for you.

We are being very tough this time around. There is a $10 fee to participate this cycle and you must post by the end of the first week or you will be kicked off the challenge and forfeit your participation fee.

This week I lost 1 1/2 pounds for a percentage of ????? weight lost. (All of a sudden, "brain no good" and I can't remember how to do percentages!) Rich is baffled - the scale didn't agree with what he thought he should have lost - I think it's a zero for him.

Richard - Week #4

Low-Cal Pavlova Dessert

Ok, here is a suggestion for a yummy low-calorie dessert.

Buy a package of fat-free merengues at the grocery store (there's a brand called Ms. Merengue that is really good). Put a couple of them in a bowl and cover with sliced strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries. Top with a dollop of fat free Cool Whip or whipped cream from the spray can.

Yum!

Kari Weeks 1 and 2

Ok, I'm a little behind in posting, but I'm participating! Nathan and I are both doing the Weight Watchers Core Plan, and are being pretty good. So my goal is to lose 20 pounds by Thanksgiving.

During week 1, I lost 3 pounds, for a percentage of 2% weight loss.

During week 2, I lost 1.5 pounds, for a percentage of 1% weight loss.

I hope I did those calculations correctly. If not, tough.... I still lost 4.5 pounds!

This is great news as sugarfet was last weekend. I weighed myself on Friday and then I weighed myself upon returning and no lie I gained three pounds over the weekend! So although I am at 0 from last week, I did manage to get all the sugarfest junk out of my system!

I am proud to say it was only one pound after the pan full of cinnamon rolls I ate last weekend. Michelle those were some of the best you've ever made, I am happy to have gained a pound over them. Sugarfest is not going to help this situation.
